: EPC 2010: Poultry experts met in Tours to cover current and future developments

The XIIIth European Poultry Conference was held in Tours, France, from August 23rd until 26th. It was the main poultry conference in Europe this year and the event was an excellent platform for exchanging knowledge and ideas with poultry researchers and the industry in general. 1300 participants from all around the world (more than 60 countries) were there, 800 posters were presented and more than 100 speakers were involved.

: BIOMIN’s Mycotoxin Survey Report: 2nd Quarter 2010 results available now!

Once again BIOMIN shows its concern regarding the mycotoxin problem and provides you with your personal Mycotoxin Risk Management tool. The following figures, charts and tables refer to the worldwide mycotoxin contamination of agricultural commodities for the period between April and June 2010. In this 3-month period, a total of 2599 analyses were carried out for the most important mycotoxins in terms of agriculture and animal production – aflatoxins (Afla), zearalenone (ZON), deoxynivalenol (DON), fumonisins (FUM) and ochratoxin A (OTA).
